We printed this wrap on 3M 180c for the Beetle and their 3 following utility body wraps. We used 8519 overlaminate to mitigate fading in Louisiana sun.

All the vehicle wraps were installed locally in Baton Rouge.

The VW Beetle wrap and their HVAC service wraps trucks turned out great and they can still be seen running around the Baton Rouge area.

Hico ISD Trailer Wrap in Hico TX

Hico Independent School District located in Hico TX obtained an already wrapped fiberglass trailer that they wanted turned into a bold statement for their school. Something that captured the school's spirit.

Trailer Wrap Design

Hico provided Flash Forward Media's designers with many pictures and wanted their red and blue colors to be prominent in the design. After the first design we were on the right track but it was still in need of tweaking. The configuration of the pictures was the main focus of the changes. After a several renditions the wrap design was finalized. Unlike most trailers Hico's trailer was smooth on the corners. Usually a trailer is framed in aluminum creating a natural break point. This makes designing easy because there is no need to match the front panel with the side panel. Not the case here. Only with precise measurements and a skilled installer would the designers be able to create a cohesive design that flows from the front to the sides.

Trailer Wrap Production

Things get really hot in Texas so choosing the wrong type of vinyl, or cutting corners like using liquid lamination or even worse no lamination at all would cause the material to rapidly fade. We've seen wraps in Texas that were only a year old that had severe fading. In our experience 3M 180c with 8519 HARD lamination is the best material for countering the effects of the sun.

The Trailer Wrap Installation

We had the installer apply the wrap locally at Hico ISD. They had a great indoor athletic space for our installer to work.

Wyze Solutions | Box Truck Wrap Round Rock, TX

A few years back Wyze Solutions contacted Flash Forward Media to produce a box truck wrap for their 14' box truck. Wyze Solutions offers sales and installation for office furniture and office accessories in Texas. They offer their services in many markets in Texas. This was for their Round Rock / Austin location. They use their box truck to deliver their office products and needed it to have a consistent look and feel as their website and other branding. Wyze Solutions has a very distinct bright green color in their branding that could prove to be difficult to hit. Because of this we recommended sending color samples to Wyze. With that we were able to achieve the desired color 100%. For this project we used 3M materials, the best material for hot southern states like Texas where fading is a huge concern. We laminate the material with 8519 which has UV protective properties. For the install we applied it locally at their Round Rock TX facility.

Austin Gutterman Van and Truck Wraps in Austin TX

Wrap Design Process

For many years Flash Forward Media has been designing, printing and installing truck and van wraps for Austin Gutterman's ever-growing fleet. To start we went through a few iterations and coverage options. Die-cut spot graphics vs. a partial wrap option. Ultimately we settled on a partial wrap. For design elements we settled on LEAVES, a gutters arch-enemy.

Wrap Production

With the hot Texas sun being a factor that may compromise the longevity of the wrap the only option would be 3M 180c v3 with 8519 overlam. It's the most durable material that won't prematurely fade under the hot sun.

Wrap Installation

For the install Austin Gutterman was able to provide us with an indoor space for our installer to work in. Our installer travels to them for most installs.
